It’s been a very busy 1st quarter of 2024. Amongst gigs with Adam Levy, Joyann Parker, Zacc Harris, Atlantis Quartet, Red Planet, Cody Steinmann, Abinnet Berhanu, and several others, I got some sort of flu in January, and then Covid in February. Special shout out to Matt Peterson, Dan Carpel and Erik Fratzke for stepping in on short notice for me on those gigs. It’s great to have such wonderfully musical friends to call on when you need them. Along with those all those gigs there was some actual audio documentation happening as well. Atlantis Quartet recorded two nights at the new spot, Berlin, for an upcoming live album. The Cody Steinmann trio recorded a suite of new material with Solomon Parham on trumpet and saxophonist JD Allen. Additionally the Zacc Harris Group just finished two days in the studio recording new music as well. Super happy to have some content “in the can” and to be working on new projects. I’ll keep you all posted on release info when it arrives.

Atlantis Quartet plays MetroNOME Brewery for back-to-back nights of intense, original music. We just recorded two nights of shows and we are feeling really good about this long standing creative connection. In turn,  I think we’re enjoying being more active as a band again; and the music is growing! Stop on by.

RED PLANET plays BERLIN. The music of Red Planet is akin to some sort of wonderful circus of joy, sorrow, wonder and trust.
