How are you? I hope you are doing well. We are wrapping up summer and it’s almost September?!??! What the heck? It’s been pretty dang busy over here in teenage-Bates-land. Life has been a wild ride of late balancing family, work, music and many other changes. PHEW. I’m super thankful for my band mates and all of you for coming out to see music! The social interactions and sharing really help me keep myself grounded and aware that I’m not the only baby soul on the planet who has experienced tragedies. Thank you all for the support, kind words and grace during this tender time in my life.
I just got back from a few days off in the upper peninsula of Michigan with my family. It was a wonderful place to disconnect and decompress a bit. Thankful to be able to get that time in with my favorite people.

Sunday 9/8 Joyann Parker Precious Lord Acoustic Gospel Roots @ Crooners 4:30 pm The stories and history of Gospel Music.

Thursday 9/12 David Singley & Pure Source @ Crooners 6 pm. David Singley singing and playing guitar with Greg Schutte and CB.

Sunday 9/15 JC Sanford Imminent Standards @ Imminent Brewing 5 pm. This will be a fun return to Northfield; and playing with JC, and Abinnet on drums! 😉

Friday 9/20 The Freier Dept. @ Jazz Central 8 pm. This band features trombonist Ethan Freier and a cast of characters! Fun times!

Saturday 9/21 Zacc Harris Group @ Berlin 8 pm. ZHG is gearing up for a new album release this November. Come hear this great band stretch on Zacc’s tunes!

Thursday 9/26 Devin Gray w/ Brandon Wozniak and CB @ Berlin 8 pm. Devin is a fantastic NYC based drummerwho has played with most of the modern masters. One night only. Hope you can join us!

Sunday 9/29 Joyann Parker presents the Music of Patsy Cline @ Chanhassen Dinner Theatre 7 pm. This show won the Midwest Country Music Awards Tribute Act of the year in 2023! It’s a classic!
